SOMEWHERE IN THE WOODS
Sustainable Prefabricated Treehouse | Airbnb Nature Stay
"Somewhere in the Woods" is a prefabricated tree house designed for the purpose of AirBnb. The challenge was to create a functional, scalable, and sustainable living space that harmoniously blends with the natural surroundings. Inspired by the beauty of the forest, the project focused on maximising the 360-degree view of the surrounding landscape. The design concept centres around the idea of appreciating the wild forest environment and creating an inside-out experience for the occupants. The tree house is built with a minimalistic and eco-friendly approach, utilizing locally sourced materials and tree bark measurements to ensure a seamless integration with the surrounding trees. Prefabricated units are designed while considering the scalability with minimum ground cover. Isn’t it a perfect getaway somewhere in the woods?
