Once a dated canteen with heavy concrete beams and exposed services, the space has been transformed into a light-filled, two-level workspace that blends industrial character with contemporary comfort. We retained the original concrete frame and threaded a lightweight steel mezzanine around a double-height heart. Linear LEDs trace the beam rhythm; reorganized HVAC and acoustics sit within crisp bulkheads. Ground level hosts reception, Workdesks, Cabins, lounges and informal meeting pockets; above, Pods, and training desks. Warm brick, timber joinery and red-stone flooring balance the industrial shell. Prefabricated, low-demolition construction minimized waste, cost and downtime, delivering a flexible working environment.
