Madhya is a prefabricated, fragmented farmhouse and wellness retreat set within the Yamuna riverine landscape. The architecture is designed as a series of lightweight volumes, creating courtyards, shaded transitions, and strong connections with nature. Elevated and porous planning responds to seasonal flooding, while the landscape uses native planting, permeable surfaces, and natural drainage to build resilience. The farmhouse and wellness house together create a quiet retreat that is rooted in the landscape and designed to live with the river rather than against it.
